In January of 1999 Jim Meissner, Owner of Meissner Sewing Machine Co., and Brennan Toohey, a professional with twelve years in the Embroidery Industry joined forces to form CES, Commercial Embroidery Systems. Jim and Brennan's alliance brings over 100 years of sewing experience and 50 years of embroidery experience to the team they have assembled.

CES operates from Meissner's 22,000 square foot Sacramento, California location. It boasts a full embroidery show room, as well as technical and educational services. In addition to servicing the embroidery Equipment that they sell, CES services most machine manufacturers and are the distributors of Isacord embroidery thread, Hollingsworth & Vose backing and Superior metallic thread.
